I find this interesting because 4.0.0 was the last update to make an event spirit available (being Peachette), all others are after a certain date (one date was hours before 7.0.0 but was still included in the patch notes). These spirits are fully fight-able on the spirit board and you'll get the spirit properly but with the placeholder image... in airplane mode. Having access to the internet and going to the spirit board will automatically download the relevant BCAT data.
