:The note was changed since it had greater horizontal range akin to Pair Up, as opposed to Great Aether which can only hit if the opponent is right in front of Ike. That said, there's a bunch of similar Final Smashes (see also [[Secret Ninja Attack]] and [[Omega Blitz]]), so there's not really just one valid comparison.
