Raynex | As one of the founding members of the East Coast Canada Smash, Raynex helped establish the grassroots community in Toronto as it exists today. Travelling across North America since the age of 18, Raynex picked up some notable tournament placings throughout the years. Shortly after his first U.S. major event in 2008, Raynex picked up some local tournament wins. With his doubles teammate and highschool friend [[Ryan Ford]], the rest of North America began to wake up to the reality of strong contenders in Canada. Raynex was the first-ever dual-sponsored player in Canada, competing in SSBM and Street Fighter simultaneously at major events. In SSBM, Raynex peaked at #1 in Canada (2012) and 51st on the world rankings (2014). | ||
