He has lost four console tournaments in the country since then, three at the hands of international players, with his lowest placing being 3rd. 

==History==
Having picked the game up in 2015 after not having played since his mother sold the family Nintendo 64 in 2011, Jayden first made waves in the broader Australian scene in March 2016 after having joined the country’s netplay Skype group. As a 14-year-old with no active players in his city, Jayden had to rely almost purely on [[Project64k]], [[Training Mode]] and [[online play]] to improve and was originally playing on a wired [[Xbox 360 controller]]. He cites {{Sm|wario}}'s performance at [[GENESIS 3]] as inspiration for picking up {{SSB|Pikachu}}, but plays a variety of characters, and is similarly inspired by the likes of {{Sm|Jouske}}, {{Sm|Isai}}, {{Sm|Kurabba}} and {{Sm|DSC}}. His dedication to his craft was exemplified by his willingness to play during class while he was in high school.

In preparation for his first console tournament ([[Battle Arena Melbourne 9]]), Jayden trained heavily with {{Sm|Zoso|p=64}} and {{Sm|El Hefe}} through [[Online play]], two South Australian players who helped pioneer a “never say die” attitude. It was at this tournament he faced {{Sm|Kmart}}, {{Sm|Dino}}, and {{Sm|SuPeRbOoMfAn}} in the winner’s side of draw, losing to Boom and then losing to {{Sm|Pete}} in Loser’s Final, cementing his spot as one of the promising up-and-comers, alongside {{Sm|Dino}} who beat {{Sm|Pete}} in the winner’s side of the same tournament and is currently ranked second in Australia.

Jayden’s introduction to fierce console competition came a year and two months after having first joined the Skype group, at the renowned  [[Battle Arena Melbourne 9]], with most of the Australian scene being in attendance, alongside {{Sm|SuPeRbOoMfAn}}.

Though {{Sm|Indefa}} and Jayden have been good sparring partners since Jayden joined the netplay scene, it wasn’t until Indefa switched mains from {{SSB|Jigglypuff}} to {{SSB|Kirby}} that Jayden really elevated his game as Pikachu against the character. He already had solid experience, especially after beating {{Sm|Kirbymon}} twice at [[Simbarumba]], though it wasn’t until Jayden travelled to [[Super Smash Con 2022]] where he proved his worth, notching one of his best wins at the tournament, twice, over {{Sm|Killer}} (once in D1 and again in bracket). The bracket win was particularly impressive especially considering he was down zero games to two and made the three-game-comeback to advance to the next round. It was there he faced {{Sm|Wizzrobe}} and lost, going down 3-0 after narrowly losing what was a close game 2.

Jayden is among few Australian players to compete internationally, notably at [[Super Smash Con 2022]], where he placed 17th in singles with wins over {{Sm|Czar}}, {{Sm|lord narwhal}}, {{Sm|Loto}} and {{Sm|Killer}}. Teaming with lord narwhal in doubles, the two finished 7th with wins over {{Sm|Darkhorse}} & {{Sm|Josh Brody}} and {{Sm|Take}} & {{Sm|Prince}}, and managed to take a game off eventual champions {{Sm|Isai}} & {{Sm|tacos}} in pools. A year later he would return to [[Super Smash Con 2023]] and make Division 1 pools in singles while not advancing, having to face the toughest of opponents such as {{Sm|KeroKeroppi}} (4th place) and {{Sm|Isai}} (winner). In doubles he would team with {{Sm|Shears}} and place 13th with losses to teams such as {{Sm|Queso}} & {{Sm|heny935}}, {{Sm|Paco}} & {{Sm|Shihman}}, {{Sm|tacos}} & {{Sm|Alvin}}, and eventual runners-up {{Sm|Take}} & {{Sm|kysk}}.
