'''Germ''', formerly known as '''The GERM''', is an American ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' player from Northern California known to be one of the best {{SSBM|Link}} [[main]]s in the world. He is well known for his aggressively fast play style with Link and has achieved the most success as a Link main in tournaments. He is primarily famous for putting together and editing [[DBR]]'s [[Evolution]], and for his part in the same video as a player. He also created {{YouTube|9TE4bIDlF8c|Linkology}} and {{YouTube|cMWYcVrljmA|The Hylian Nightmare}}, two supplementary Link videos. Germ has been playing ''Melee'' competitively since 2002.

Germ was formerly ranked 17th on the [[NorCal Power Rankings|NorCal Melee Power Rankings]] and was known as one of Northern California's top 10 players from 2006 to 2009. 

Despite still occasionally entering tournaments, Germ is now a freelance illustrator and a concept artist for [[Wikipedia:Gameloft|Gameloft]].
