'''Shōgo Sakai''' (酒井 省吾 ''Sakai Shougo'', born 1960) is a Japanese composer who is currently employed by [[HAL Laboratory]]. He has done work for ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'', as well as ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'', and was the Arrangement Supervisor for the [http://www.smashbros.com/wii/en_us/music/music06.html Kid Icarus: The Underworld] [[Music (SSBB)|music]], and was also the Composition and Arrangement Supervisor for [http://www.smashbros.com/wii/en_us/music/music18.html Mother: Porky's Theme], which happened to be his own original work.
