'''Pokémon Multi Battle''' is a co-op [[event match]] in {{forwiiu}}. Player 1 initially controls {{SSB4|Pikachu}} while player 2 starts out with {{SSB4|Charizard}}. The object of the event is to defeat all of the opposite team's Pokémon, which have one stock each. Both teams have the same Pokémon, but the enemy team begins instead with {{SSB4|Lucario}} and {{SSB4|Greninja}}. The battle plays like a 2 stock match, only that each stock is used by a different Pokémon.

== Progression ==
This event is unlocked by clearing [[A Lurking Menace]]. Completing the event unlocks the right path. Once both the event is completed and {{SSB4|Falco}} is unlocked, the down path is revealed.

* The music used in this event, ''{{SSB4MusicLink|Pokémon|Battle! (Trainer Battle) (Pokémon X / Pokémon Y)}}'', normally plays on [[Kalos Pokémon League]], rather than Pokémon Stadium 2.
* This event references {{s|bulbapedia|Multi Battle}}s, a battle style appearing in the {{uv|Pokémon}} series where two teams of two trainers battle each other.
* This event is similar to the solo event [[Identity Crisis]] as both use different characters as stock as well as ''Brawl{{'}}s'' [[Event 5: Become the Champion!]] and more closely, [[Co-Op Event 2: Master the Pokémon Tag Battle]] as both revolve around Pokémon battles that uses identical rosters.
** In a similar vein, since the player only goes to the character selection screen to pick Pikachu and Charizard, they cannot use [[character customization]]s on Lucario and Greninja.
