Some characters can preform this technique better than others. To figure out who has a longer slide when performing the Pivot Grab, a character must have, a fast running speed, and low traction. {{SSBB|Captain Falcon}} is the greatest example for testing out this theory, because of his fast running speed, and his low traction, his is able to slide across the floor at great speed and distance, making the pivot grab a great technique for {{SSBB|Captain Falcon}}.
