Pac-Man debuted in the arcade game, ''Pac-Man'', in 1980. He initially began with little to no personality traits, but was fleshed out in the both ''Pac-Land'' and the '''Pac-Man World'' series. In these games, Pac-Man is shown to have a family that he deeply cares about, and is characterized as a fun loving individual with a large appetite.
