Mimicuties (ミミッ子, Mimikko) are enemies from Kid Icarus: Uprising that appear in the Smash Run game mode exclusively for for3ds.
Mimicuties (ミミッ子, Mimikid) are enemies in Smash Run in for3ds. They will disguise themselves as treasure chests, like in Kid Icarus (universe), and are intended to trick players into thinking they are real treasure chests. If a character approaches a Mimicutie, it will sprout a pair of legs and start wildly kicking the character.

Origin
Origin
Mimicuties were introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. They appear as standard chests at first, but when approached, they sprout legs and proceed to run around and perform kicking attacks. They have two main attacks: a flurry of rapid kicks and a sliding whirlwind kick, both of which carry over to Smash 4 essentially unchanged.
Mimicuties were introduced in Uprising. They appear as standard chests at first. Unlike other "fake chests" in many other games that have teeth inside their lid, Mimicuties will sprout legs when an unsuspecting player approaches. They will proceed to run around and perform kicking attacks. This behavior carries over into Smash Run.

Mimicuties appear as enemies. They disguise themselves as chests, only differentiated from them by their lighter color and the fact that they face towards the screen, and are intended to trick players into thinking they are real treasure chests. If a character approaches a Mimicutie, it will sprout a pair of legs and start attacking, actively and very quickly pursuing the player if they try to run away. They can attack either with a flurry of kicks or a powerful spinning slide, similar to that of Kritter. Due to their considerable health, flinch resistance and powerful attacks they are difficult to defeat, though managing to do so gives players substantial rewards similar to an actual chest.

|desc-ntsc=Hey, look! That treasure chest probably contains stat boosts! Wait, why does it have two legs? Chest, where are you going?! ...Something about this just seems so unfair. Guess the best course of action is to avoid its rapid kicks and defeat it to earn those stat boosts.
|desc-pal=It's an experience every adventurer has had once or twice - you go to open a perfectly ordinary treasure chest, hoping for some stat boosts, but it sprouts a pair of shapely legs and starts kicking you. These fiendish creatures tend to hide near real treasure chests, just to catch you out. They do drop some nice items, though, so it's not all bad!
