In the past several months, we've received much much info about Smash 4 gameplay. One question I've been seeking for input for is how many stocks will a competitive SSB4 match have. The developers meant for the game speed to be between Melee (4) and Brawl (3). The problem here is that from my perspetive while the gameplay speed has improved, the pacing of 1v1 matches is pretty much the same as Brawl's, if not worse. (The preceding statement may or may not be biased since the only footage of ssb4 available is people who...suck at this game). This leads me to believe that the average match should have 2 or 3 stocks. | In the past several months, we've received much much info about Smash 4 gameplay. ::::My reply was to address his generic argument about the game not being completed. I'm pretty well aware that the game isn't out yet, but the game being such a short time away locks a lot of what we see in the final release. I am just asking for speculation on how many stocks is ideal for a competitive SSB4 match. If you (and Crow) are going to hold off thoughts about this topic until the game is released, then don't bother posting.
