FLUDD works really well with ACE ([aerial cape extension]--don't even know if there's an article, actually) because the occasionally-fatal horizontal distance you can get caping off the edge can be somewhat recovered due to Mario's horizontal push-back from FLUDD. So, you can knock someone off the stage, cape off the edge as best you can to chase him while he recovers, FLUDD to push him past the blast line while simultaneously Mario's momentum shifts back towards the stage. From there, you still have two jumps with which to recover. It's a finesse KO, but one of Mario's finest in Brawl. --[[Special:Contributions/70.75.175.95|70.75.175.95]] 00:57, 25 November 2008 (UTC) | FLUDD works really well with ACE ([[aerial cape extension]]--don't even know if there's an article, actually) because the occasionally-fatal horizontal distance you can get caping off the edge can be somewhat recovered due to Mario's horizontal push-back from FLUDD. The F.L.U.D.D. is actually a lot better and far more useful than Mario's tornado was in Melee; honestly, I can't think of anything the tornado was used for besides recovery and Mario's recovery is actually decent enough now in Brawl to where he doesn't really need it. The F.L.U.D.D. is basically a multi-purpose setup move; F.L.U.D.D. can be used to setup the cape while edgeguarding or be used to help punish moves using FIHL. I think F.L.U.D.D. could have been better, but I'm not too disappointed.
