This stage's official name in Japanese, {{ja|デュエルゾーン}} (Duel Zone), doesn't match the name for Battlefield in the Japanese versions of ''Melee'' and ''Brawl'', both of which use the name {{ja|戦場}} (''Senjō'', Battlefield). Because of the similarities to the later Battlefield stages and the disagreement with the Japanese name, this stage has no clear name in English.
