| The Psycho Car is one of several vehicular enemies in ''EarthBound Beginnings'', and can appear in the outskirts of the towns of {{s|wikibound|Merrysville}} and {{s|wikibound|Reindeer}} as an upgraded version of the {{s|wikibound|Mad Car}}. The Psycho Car and its predecessor is a dangerous enemy, especially if it is accompanied by a {{s|wikibound|PsychoTruck}}, as they can vent paralyzing exhaust fumes giving the protagonist {{s|wikibound|Ninten}} an asthma attack, which makes him completely helpless and unable to do anything unless he uses asthma spray or one of his party members defeats them and ends the battle. A similar enemy named the {{s|wikibound|Mad Taxi}} would appear in the game's sequel, ''{{b|EarthBound|game}}'', in [[Fourside]] and {{s|wikibound|Summers}}.
