'''"Custom Move Sets"''' are a feature for [[Super Smash Bros. 4]] that allow players to customize some aspects of the characters' [[Special move]]s. The feature was revealed and demonstrated under the header "Mysterious Special Moves" in the April 2014 Smash Bros. [[Nintendo Direct]]. Several examples are shown:
*Mario throws a large, slow fireball in one clip and a small, fast fireball unaffected by gravity in another.
*Pit fires an arrow which makes a loop after a short distance.
*Marth executes a Shield Breaker covering a very long distance.
*Mario attacks with a firey, powerful version of his Super Jump Punch.
*Kirby's Inhale move freezes an opponent and appears to push away rather than pull toward.
*DK executes a slow-moving Headbutt giving him [[Launch resistance]].

They can only apply when playing locally or online with friends.
