Editing 2018 64 League Rankings

The '''2018 64 League Rankings''' is a rankings list compiled by {{sm|JAMJAR}} along with voting by various members of the SSB64 Community [[Facebook]] page after the lack of a proper list by the 64 League for the same ranking period. Voting began in late November 2019 and the final revision was published on December 27th, 2019.

The polling was done with a spreadsheet sent to members of the community with a list of ''Smash 64'' players who had at least attended two [[List of national tournaments|majors]] (or similarly notable regionals) in North America. Due to these limits, certain ''SSB64'' players from foreign countries were excluded due to them only attending one event. This applied to previous top ranking players, {{Sm|Fukurou}} and {{Sm|kysk}}, who only attended {{Trn|GENESIS 5}}. {{Sm|wangera}}, {{Sm|sekirei}}, {{Sm|Silver Spoon}}, {{Sm|A$}}, and {{Sm|Jam}} who only attended {{Trn|Super Smash Con 2018}} were also excluded from this list. This was done in response to certain complaints of the prior list. However it led to further complaints from people arguing that placing high in one of these two events alone provides more and better data than just attending two regionals. People voted for each of these players on a scale from 1-10 and the average was used to compile the final total.
