Lightweight (軽量化, Lighten) is one of Palutena's alternate down special moves in Super Smash Bros. 4.
Overview
When Palutena uses this move, she increases her movement speed and jumping abilities temporarily. However, during that time, Palutena will take more damage and knockback from opponents. The effects of this move lasts 15 seconds. After this, Palutena will move at half speed and her jump ability reduced for 5 seconds as a side effect. Palutena must wait a cool down time of 10 seconds before the move can be used again.

Origin
Lightweight is a stat-based power that Pit or a fighter can wield in Kid Icarus: Uprising. This power increases speed and prevents tiring out, but defenses are reduced. The defense-lowering aspect of this power carries over in the form of the added damage and knockback Palutena takes from attacks.
