Unlikely Allies is a co-op event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. In it, player 1 controls Palutena and player 2 controls Ganondorf with 2 stocks each. They must defeat 16 Mr. Game & Watches with 4 of them appearing on stage at a time, with the exception of the last 4 which will appear 2 at a time. The first 12 Mr. Game & Watch range from slightly small to normal, and are easy to KO. The following 2 Mr. Game & Watch will be giant and harder to KO. The final 2 Mr. Game & Watch will be even bigger, and metal as well.
- This event may be based off of Kid Icarus: Uprising Chapters 15-17, where the Aurum (Invaders from another dimension) theraten the planet, and Palutena and Hades (evil king), along with Viridi, must defeat them. The Mr. Game and Watches may also reference Pit a one point remarking about how some of the Aurum troops moving "like characters from a Game & Watch game."
