The Duck Hunt universe (ダックハント, Dakku Hanto) refers to the Super Smash Bros. series' collection of properties that hail from the classic NES game, Duck Hunt, developed and published by Nintendo in 1985 alongside fellow NES games, Ice Climber and Gyromite. After trophies and stickers in previous installments, Duck Hunt received it's first major representation with the introduction of a character duo of the same name, consisting of the iconic dog and ducks.
