Parasol Waddle Dee

Parasol Waddle Dees are a type of Waddle Dee that appears in the Kirby series.

In Super Smash Bros. 4

Parasol Waddle Dees appear in Smash Run, falling gently from the sky as they enter the battlefield. Like the other enemies, Parasol Waddle Dees release power-ups when defeated.

Origin

Parasol Waddle Dees first appeared in the Kirby games. When sucked into Kirby's mouth, they can give Kirby the Paraso ability, allowing to glide safely tot he ground and not have to worry about running out of breath. However, Parasol Waddle Dees may occasionally abandon their parasols, turning them into regular Waddle Dees. The only way to get the Parasol ability at that point would be to have Kirby suck up the forsaken parasol.
