Short hop laser

SHL/SHB

This is known as Short Hop Laser or Short Hop Blaster. This technique is done by performing a short hop with either Fox or Falco and then firing a laser/blaster shot. This is used to disrupt your opponent's movements and slow their approach.

SHDL/SHDB

This is a technique that can only be done with Fox, wherein the D stands for double. It has the same basic mechanics as the SHL/SHB but instead Fox is used to fire twice.
