The Wii Sports universe (Wii スポーツ, Wii Sports) refers to the collection of stages and other properties that hail from the Wii Sports series of games.
Franchise Description
Wii Sports was first released in November of 2006, as a launch title bundled with the Wii. It consisted of five sports games - tennis, bowling, boxing, golf, and baseball. Players used Miis that they created on the Wii's Mii Channel application in these games, and each individual Mii kept their own records in the game. Due to its fun gameplay and simple nature, Wii Sports became fairly popular in places that video games would not normally be seen, such as nursing homes. In addition to this, the game has also seen use as a method of physical therapy for those recovering from strokes and injuries. Because of this wider-than-usual audience and the Wii's success, Wii Sports went on to become the second best-selling video game of all time, at around 82 million copies. It later received a sequel, Wii Sports Resort, released in 2009. This sequel also served as the debut for the Wii MotionPlus add-on for the Wii Remote. Like Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort was bundled with Wii consoles that were sold after its release. Wii Sports Resort enjoyed similar success to its predecessor, going on to sell around 32 million copies, and is currently the seventh best-selling video game of all time. In 2013, Wii Sports was remade in 2013 in HD as Wii Sports Club on the Wii U, however, this remake was eShop exclusive, and required players to rent a sport for a small fee. This remake featured online multiplayer, allowing users to play with other Wii U console owners who had the sport in question. In addition, players could join clubs, allowing groups of players to compete with other players online. It was released in disc form in 2014, removing the need for passes in order to rent a sport.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
There was one music track from Wii Sports in Brawl, which plays on Pictochat.

Trophies
A vehicle that speeds across the waves like a marine motorbike. The handlebars you use to control its direction and speed are a lot like a motorbike's too. In Wii Sports Resort, you use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to mimic these handlebars. All that's missing are waves splashing against your face!
A vehicle that speeds across the waves like a marine motorbike. The handlebars you use to control its direction and speed are a lot like a motorbike's, too. In Wii Sports Resort, you use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to mimic these handlebars, for an experience so authentic you might just feel the waves crashing around you!
Instead of a Wii Remote, imagine you're holding a throwing disc in your hand. Swing it just like you would a real disc, and watch it fly across the beautiful beach. In this disc-throwing game, a pup will play fetch! That adorable look on its face as it catches the disc is almost more than we can handle!
Hold the Wii Remote tight, then flick it as though you were actually throwing a Frisbee. As it glides across the beach's beautiful white sands, your lovable canine pal here will bound along after it. Just be sure to concentrate before you throw, or you'll disappoint your dog!
- Wuhu Island
The tropical island from Wii Sports Resort is the perfect place to enjoy a few sporting activities. Go on a close tour of it by selecting the Wuhu Island stage, or get a bird's-eye view of the island with the Pilotwings stage. Just don't get too awestruck—with the stage constantly changing under your feet, you can't afford to lose focus!
