Dr. Mario is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. He is the first and only veteran that was cut before returning in a future installment in the series. Dr. Mario's design has been updated to include the red tie he has had since Dr. Mario 64, while still retaining his black pants from Melee. His hair is a lighter shade of brown
He retains the Megavitamins and Dr. Tornado in his moveset. His Final Smash is similar to Mario Finale, but it instead uses exploding pills.
Confirmed changes from Melee
Dr. Tornado has a faster startup and a slightly longer duration. The move itself is also harder to escape from.
It has slightly extended ending lag.
