Samus (サムス, Samusu) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. Samus is confirmed to retain her Special Moves Charge Shot, Bomb, and Missile. She is also to retain her Final Smash, Zero Laser[1]. It remains unknown, however, whether or not she will continue to transform in to Zero Suit Samus after using this move.
Confirmed information
- Her design is based off her appearance in Metroid: Other M.
- Forward tilt, dash attack, back aerial, up aerial, Charge Shot and Bomb appear the same.
- Forward smash appears to have gotten much faster and now sets opponents on fire.
- Missiles have a new design but otherwise have no obvious changes.
- Zero Laser is more narrow, and comes out faster.

- Samus and Wii Fit Trainer are the only female playable characters confirmed in Super Smash Bros. 4. They're also the only characters to have their Final Smash confirmed.
