Kagaribi 5 was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate supermajor held in Tokyo, Japan, from October 30th-31st, 2021. It was initially scheduled for July 31st, but a state of emergency in Tokyo from a COVID-19 outbreak caused it to be delayed to August 29th, then to October 31st.[1][2] Just like Kagaribi 4, it held all Japanese PGR players attending except for T, Kuro, and Ron and was the biggest Japanese tournament since EVO Japan 2020.
