SSBMontreal is a organization based in Montreal that hosts and streams events for the Smash community. A local player named Rice founded this organization in late 2013 with the goal of reigniting the once dying Super Smash Bros. Melee scene with regular weeklies. This soon expanded to include the entire Super Smash Bros. franchise (with Project M instead of Super Smash Bros. Brawl). In late 2014, Rice left the ownership of the organization to Kyle.
