Arceus was introduced in Generation IV, but could not be obtained through regular gameplay, and thus the only way to have obtained it was through events. It is a Normal-type Pokémon (#493 in the National Pokédex), and is considered the master of the Creation and Lake Trios of the ''Pokémon'' universe. It is capable of changing its typing, appearance, and, in some ''Pokémon'' games, a few other properties. Its appearance shows that in ''Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 3DS'', it appears without a Plate, through equipping special {{s|bulbapedia|Plate}}s, with all types other than Arceus's default having a Plate that represents them. Its signature move is [[bulbapedia:Judgment (move)|Judgment]], an attack which changes its type to match Arceus's current type. Arceus is capable of learning Gravity, but it can only learn it via Move Tutor or Move Reminder.

Article on Bulbapedia Arceus (Pokémon)

Arceus (アルセウス, Aruseusu) is a fictional creature from the Pokémon series. Arceus appears as both a Poké Ball and a Master Ball summon. When summoned, it produces a large shockwave that acts as a powerful long-range meteor smash. It does so three times before disappearing. Only airborne players will be hit; grounded players are not affected.

Origin

Arceus is a Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation IV, and is the 493rd and final Pokémon in that generation's National Pokédex. In the Sinnoh mythos, it is considered the source of the universe's creation, and the master of the generation's two legendary trios. By holding a matching Plate item, it can change its type from Normal to any other type in the game. Its signature move is Judgment, an attack which changes its type to match Arceus's current type.

Gravity is a non-damaging Psychic move also introduced in Generation IV. Once used, it applies a status effect to the battle field for 5 turns, which lowers the evasion of all Pokémon and disables the effects of several mechanics, such as making Flying-types no longer immune to Ground attacks. Arceus is capable of learning Gravity, but it can only learn it via Move Tutor or Move Reminder.
