Monoeyes (モノアイ, Monoai) are aerial enemies, members of the Underworld Army in the Kid Icarus franchise. Appearing as a singular eye, as their name clearly implies, the Monoeyes can fire beams from their eyes.

In Super Smash Bros. 4

Monoeyes appear as enemies in Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, acting as one of many flying enemies in that mode.

Origin

Monoeye was introduced in Kid Icarus as one of the Underworld troops. This enemy has appeared in all three Kid Icarus games.
