As a Poké Ball Pokémon
Chespin has been confirmed in both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Super Smash Bros. 4. It uses the move Seed Bomb, where it shoots explosive seeds from its body at close proximity and detonates them all at once, damaging nearby fighters. In the 3DS version, Chespin strangely announces its name as Tepig when it comes out of its pokeball.
Origin
Chespin, along with Fennekin and Froakie, first appeared in Pokémon X and Y as a Starter Pokémon of the Kalos Region. It is a Grass-type Pokémon that evolves into Quilladin starting at level 16, which evolves into Chesnaught starting at level 36. Chesnaught gains a Fighting secondary type and access to the status move Spiky Shield, a variant of Protect that hurts opponents that attempt to lay a contact move on it while it protects itself.
