Bubbles are enemies from The Legend of Zelda series that appear as enemies in Smash Run for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Blue Bubbles charge at fighters and leave them frozen.

Origin

Bubbles have appeared in nearly every game in the Zelda series, with Blue Bubbles being a variant. They were winged skulls engulfed in flames. Usually, they can curse Link and prevent him from using his sword. Ice Bubbles, which appeared in Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass, had the ability to freeze, which is adopted by the Blue Bubbles in Smash Run. The design used in Smash Run is based on that of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
