As an enemy

Cryogonal using Ice Beam in Smash Run

Cryogonal appears as an enemy in Smash Run.

Cryogonal hovers in arcs around the player and attacks them with a long, straight Ice Beam which deals 5% damage and freezes its target. The direction of the Ice Beam can either be kept fixed or be rotated within a 180 degree radius to follow the player, with the latter having a longer telegraph. After firing an Ice Beam, Cryogonal cannot fire another until 2.5 seconds have passed.

North America This Ice-type Pokémon uses its ice-crystal chains to capture and freeze its prey to -148 degrees. In Smash Run, it drifts through the air and attacks with Ice Beam. The beam comes in two forms: one that fires in a straight line and one that curves to follow the fighters.
Europe This ice-type Pokémon uses its ice crystal chains to capture and freeze its prey to -100 degrees. In Smash Run, it drifts through the air and attacks fighters using Ice Beam. The attack comes in two forms: it will either fire in one direction, or it'll rotate as it fires. Don't let it hit you or you'll end up frozen solid!
