The player plays as the Ice Climbers on Rainbow Cruise and must KO the Yoshis in order that they appear, which mimics a rainbow: red, pink, yellow, green, light blue, and dark blue. If the player KO's the wrong Yoshi, either intentionally or by self destructing, the event ends in failure.
