Meta Knight (Japanese: メタナイト, Meta Naito) is a character appearing in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. All that is known is that he has a multi-hit aerial attack, can jump multiple times in mid-air, and has an attack like Kirby's Forward smash. It is also apparent that he can glide in mid-air, and also has many multi-hit sword attacks.

Within the first Brawl trailer Meta Knight is seen shielding or reflecting one of Pit's arrows with his cape, which when on him renders him camouflaged with his surroundings (it makes him appear invisible). It is unknown whether this was a cinematic choice, is his shield, or is one of his moves within the game.

Meta Knight's moves are only shown in screenshots, as well briefly shown in the trailers. His Final Smash is still unknown.
