Progression

This event is unlocked by clearing That Elusive 9. Completing the event does not unlock any further paths. Once both the event is completed and Falco is unlocked, the left path is unlocked.

Completing the event on hard difficulty within 60 seconds awards 2000G.

Trivia

  • This event is similar to Melee's Event 19: Peach's Peril and Brawl's Event 31: The Ultimate Bodyguard where the player must defend a helpless ally.
  • Mario's role of defending the damaged Little Mac is a reference to his cameo as the referee in Punch-Out!!
    • Mario also has the Fire Mario costume, resembling his outfit in Punch-Out!!
