Scizor is a Bug/Steel-type Pokémon introduced in {{iw|bulbapedia|Generation II}}, and is categorized within the Pokédex at #212 as the "Pincer Pokémon". It evolves from {{pkmn|Scyther}} when {{iw|bulbapedia|trade}}d while holding a {{iw|bulbapedia|Metal Coat}}. It also gained a {{iw|bulbapedia|Mega Evolution}} in {{iw|bulbapedia|Generation VI}}.

{{iw|bulbapedia|Metal Claw|move}} is a Steel-type move with 50 base power, 95% accuracy and a 10% chance of raising the user's attack by one level. Scizor can learn it in every game.

Scizor also forces characters to the top of the screen if they make contact with it. Scizor's attack does not harm the summoner.
